Our Story

For two years, I carried this idea quietly.
I’m Kim, the founder of Hadeel. I’m a hijabi living in South Korea — and for a long time, that felt lonely in ways I didn’t always know how to explain.

People stare. They ask questions. Many didn’t understand where I come from, or why women wear hijab. There were moments I thought about taking it off. Just to make things easier. Just to stop answering the same questions.

But then I realized something — if I removed my hijab to fit in, I wouldn’t actually fit in. I would always be a foreigner here. The only thing I would lose is myself.

So I kept it on. And I started searching for hijabs that made me feel the way I wanted to feel — beautiful, confident, proud. I wanted hijabs that felt as intentional as the decision to wear one — soft, beautiful, made with care.

But finding hijabs that actually delivered to Korea? Nearly impossible. Most brands were out of stock. Most didn’t ship here at all.

So just before Ramadan, I made a decision. I’m starting my own brand. I don’t know everything yet. I’m figuring it out as I go. But I know why I’m doing it — and that’s enough.

Hadeel means the gentle cooing of a dove in Arabic. Soft. Steady. Peaceful — even when the world around you isn’t.

This brand is for every hijabi who has ever felt invisible, out of place, or asked to be less than she is. Wear your identity with pride.
Born in Korea. For every hijabi in the world. 🕊️
